Faustian
How much money????????????????? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8216505.stm Top Italian lottery prize is won The mounting jackpot had triggered lotto fever across Europe A winner has been found in Italy's massive state lottery draw - described as Europe's biggest-ever jackpot. The winning Superenalotto ticket - worth 146.9m euros (£128.3m; $211.8m) - was bought in a coffee bar in Bagnone, a Tuscan village of 2,000 people. There had been no winner since January, leading to mounting lottery fever, with people from around Europe travelling to Italy to buy tickets. Since the start of the year, punters had spent well over $2bn on tickets. Saturday's draw was 10, 11, 27, 45, 79, 88. A jackpot-winning combination had not emerged for 87 consecutive draws. The BBC's Mark Duff in Italy says the economic crisis has added to the lottery's attraction, as many workers face grim prospects on their return home from the summer holiday. Italy's state news agency Ansa said the unnamed winner had spent just two euros on the ticket. Our correspondents says there is one other winner - the Italian treasury has kept about half the money gambled on the national lottery.
TroyinEwa/Perv
So after taxes I get a bit over 100 million usd. First, I'd have 1/2 the money put in my parent's account. (honest) Then I'd put 25 million in cash in safe place for when I get old(er) I'd put a 100k in each kids account for education and 5 million each in trust funds. (I have 2 kids) That leaves around 15 million left. I would like to say I wouldn't change much except I'd buy more rounds and ring the bell a bit more often. Hard to say but it would be nice to have this problem.
Faustian
I wouldn't give much to my mum, she has a buttload of money already....and I don't have any kids....so what to do? Take my better half on a never ending holiday I guess. Buy a property in strategic locations around the world and keep the rest invested when I wasn't using or needing it. The_Munchmaster
I'd spend most of it on booze, cigars, prostitutes and fast cars. The rest I'd probably waste.

I dont know about Europe, but in the US if you put the money in your parents account... you would be taxed again by about 10 - 30 %

I would buy a couple hundred acres maybe one thousand acres and put a 6 foot or taller wall around the property. Electricity from solar and wind. Above grounds buildings would be several feet thick - fortified cement and some of the buildings would be connect by tunnels 50 - 100 feet down. Bangkoktraveler
I think that has already been done. It was called Waco. Naaaw, they didn't have walls up to keep the military, I mean the paramilitary police at bay. Their structures were wooden so they got burned down and the residence of the compound found out what a Thai barbeque is all about.
