Mekong
I remember the bays of 1 hour / 700 THB with Loxinfo mid nineties (we were pioneers back then) and even at turn of millenium 200 THB / 20 Hours for a 56K that delivered 26.6K if lucky. Thai Internet is lagging but certaiy catching up, if someone had told me ten years ago that I could be online n HH at this speed using my phone as modem for my laptop I would have laughed at themi
Pom Michael
Mekong - what service provider (True / Dtac or AIS)? I see you say True before, but everytime I ask them if they offer 3G I get a NO! Edit - I believe they said the 3G only available if you have bought the iPhone from True. WorldFun
PM, Just get any True Move prepay or postpaid SIM & stick it into a WCDMA//UMTS HSPA 850Mhz compatible mobile device & you can use their 3G 'trial' services Nothing to do iphone or even blackberry exclusively although the true move sales staff may be as confused as most
Mekong
True push iPhone AIS pus RIM as wf stated it has nothing to do with the hardware manufacturer but down to the actual capabilites of said hardware. Personaltly I prefer iPhone over Blackberry or Android, but that is decision based on user experience / requirements rather than technical performance of either device. WorldFun
I'm yet to own either of those highend/smartphone OS, but definitely an android powered device has been on my shopping list for a while & HTC or some of the other 'China' brands does look very interesting - sorry can't afford the ip/bb & lucky that
