Steve
Columbo, with Sean Penn (although I can't see anyone topping Peter Faulk). How about the detective from Criminal Intent series if you know the show. He plays a similar role sometimes in the show.

dave32
The "A" Team Hmm...the guy from the green mile as BA' date=' maybe Brad Pitt as Face, who to play Hannibal? [/quote'] The A team remake will be in theaters this year. Has Liam Neeson as Hannibal. I was just irked that they cast Quentin Jackson (UFC fighter 'Rampage Jackson') as BA, not because he'll do a bad job, the role is almost appropriate, but because it caused him to walk away from the fight with Rashad Evans... a fight I wanted very much to see. Old Hippie
Got to walk where the money is! I an tempted to say I'd love to see remakes, in the same style, of Casablanca, Key Largo, and the Maltese Falcon...but I am sure they would suck. dave32
Got to walk where the money is! Yeah, I know. Still... fuck that, I want to see a fight. I an tempted to say I'd love to see remakes, in the same style, of Casablanca, Key Largo, and the Maltese Falcon...but I am sure they would suck. The thing is, most remakes are bad. I mean fucking awful. They're expressions of greedy execs trying to milk some extra cash out of something already 'known.' But - when they're not, and when done well, can be a good thing (personally though, I think Casablanca should be off limits - you're talking sacrilege now) Let me think... remakes or reinterpretations that weren't bad... the Departed (remake of Hong Kong film: Infernal Affairs) the Magnificent Seven (remake of Kurosawa's: Seven Samurai) 3:10 to Yuma Thomas Crowne Affair Vanilla Sky King Kong The Fly The Thing Cape Fear ocean's 11 Scarface etc. etc. etc....
