BaronTT
Poetic justice, in a way. He was always visibly full of glee and gloating whenever any of the government soldiers were wounded or killed. He looked ecstatic!
cavanami
A real crap shoot to take out the main guy, could go either way and quickly! I knew something was up with all the roadblocks last night on Soi On Nut, far away from the Red Shirts.
Pom Michael
I really don't think he will be remembered actually. The end is up for the Reds - at least for this protest. The real test will be if the government puts them in jail for a while.
Bangkoktraveler
Hopefully, a sad ending but knowing Thais, probably just the begining.

LizardKing
Seen the CNN video, he is in serious shape to say the least... Do not like to see anyone hurt. But, if someone had to take a head shot, I can not think of anyone better. Now that this virus is eradicated, maybe the reds will negotiate faithfully. acockasian
Absolutely no question this guy was going for a head shot. This mildot stuff most military scopes are calibrated in is time consuming to learn.
acockasian
Reading different links....I feel so sorry for the guy that missed. He is NEVER going to live down the kill shot that didn't kill. We need MORE posts from people physically IN BKK. What is going on? Is Star Of Love closed?

Don't feel too bad. He's most likely a dead man walking either way.
chilli13
at least the guy had the balls to stand in the middle of a war zone on crack down night attending to foreign interviews et all with soldiers & police within meters considering his terrorist arrest warrant, dismissal et all. still quite an interesting turn of events with a case of a clear cut shot to kill (public assassination) by whoever. don't say the terrorists did not get their warnings. peace
