BelgianBoy
Kamui - the issue - is "For Life". Already have their security detail cost, believe that is now only for 10 years. the pathetic issue is that both presidential candidates did spend over 1 billion USD each on their campaign. that overshadows all other possible issues and simply baffles the mind ! Not counting all lcal elections for governors, local congresses, DA's, judges, sheriffs, etc...... Simply baffling BB
unit731
Already mentioned here. But worth repeating. What about ALEC? LINK "So far, 42 ALEC corporations, including Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Amazon, Johnson & Johnson, General Motors and more, have decided to listen to their customers and stop funding ALEC." Steve
As soon as anyone talks of publicly financing elections the parties challenge it in court under the 'freedom of speech' provision in the constitution. Not saying they have a point, just saying its their way of saying we want to continue buying the election. More so than ever the rich and powerful have a bigger ownership of the candidates. We do the voting but the candidates are beholden to the ones who paid for their election and its NOT the people who voted for them. The ONLY difference between Obama and Romney is that Obama says he's for the people and Romney at least public beholden to the rich. We are a complete mess. Austin Patty, 20, who works at Macy’s, said he saw a man in a white mask carrying a rifle and wearing a bulletproof vest. He heard the gunman say, “I am the shooter,†as if announcing himself. A series of rapid-fire shots in short succession followed as Christmas music played. Patty said he ducked to the ground and then ran. LINK

Yeah, makes sense cuz after he blows his own brains out, they'll never know who he is.
unit731
Honestly, I read some of the responses here and I really want to take a pistol and shoot myself. Unfortunately, I do not have any hood nearby to cover my head so that my identity will be concealed.
