Coss
Interesting to see the Beardies who run Iran leaping to the televisual extravaganza and proselytizing for all they are worth...
chuckwoww
The Iranians have a street named after Khaled El Islambouli. He's the Egyptian artillery officer who gunned down Mubarak's predecessor Anwar Sadat (and injured Mubarak in the process).
Coss
Is it just me, or do Mubarak, and Berlusconi got to the same beauty salon?
Flashermac
Seems to me that Egypt was putting the blame on Egyptian Jews for Israel's existence. If the Egyptian Jews had been Zionists, they would have gone to Israel. They didn't. A Muslim colleague told me the problem is that Israel is occupying what Islam sees as ITS holy land - the land of Musa, Suleiman etc etc. The Jews have no right being there in the very heart of the Arab world. chuckwoww
An Israeli once told me it's like trying to graft an apple on an orange tree.
chuckwoww
Is it just me, or do Mubarak, and Berlusconi got to the same beauty salon? That would be the Fountain of Youth coss. They are opening a branch in Pattaya.

acockasian
But are they government policies or policies of fringe crazies? They are policies of rabbis who are government employees.
unit731
Is this a good time to visit Egypt as a regular tourist. I still wish to view the pyramids of giza. I realize that there is some commotion going on downtown. But the hotels outside of town may be low cost presently. Any suggestions?
The_Munchmaster
It sounds like a great time to visit. I'd go for it.
