YeahRight
the oversized firecrackers of some mad vandals (rather than a terror attack) make it now even into the global press; saw it just on CNN! Yeah right.
Bangkoktraveler
This is big news in the USA. I used to live in that neighborhood. We never had any fun like that. Shit!
kamui
CBS reports that magnetic bombs were found in the apartment. The same type of bomb used in Delhi and Tbilisi. I guess Iranian secret service is sending its hit men to 2nd/3rd world countries for to attack Israeli embassy personnel (see last weeks attacks) - but maybe they ran out of well-trained agents? Haven't heard something like this from Mossad...
Julian2
As I said in Flash's thread, it casts doubts on the story SAVAK just changed sides after the Shah left, they would have done a better job than this.
Horneytorney
so Mossad bombed in Bangkok and Israel blame Iran and has a good reason to start a air strike in Iran?

Good point. But most do not have a clue what SAVAK is or was. All of this may cut down on the number or Iranians allowed into country as "Tourists". unit731
so Mossad bombed in Bangkok and Israel blame Iran and has a good reason to start a air strike in Iran? Mossad could have done this with no traces.
kamui
Mossad could have done this with no traces. A major German magazine is calling the Iranian's "amateur terrorists". They made so many beginner's mistakes, that they can't be professionals. They had premature explosions, acted completely foolish by leaving a terrorist behind, not being able to throw a handgranade, trying to leave the country on an original Iranian passport, e.g.. If this would be a movie plot it would be more like a spy version of Hangover II. Now international media speculate why Teheran ordered the failed attacks in India, Georgia and LOS. Additionally two Iranian were arrested in Azerbaijan. And we had this guy from Lybia who got caught in LOS, who obviously was assembling material for a bomb. No wonder that the US government warned of Islamist terrorist attacks in LOS a month ago. Remember the immediate reaction of the Thai government: "we have everything in control, nothing to fear"... It seems that Teheran is under immense pressure. They alienated one of Iran's last partner, India, and the Thai government might have a second look at the relationship to Iran as well. Coss
The reason they're amateurs, is the huge amount of space in their heads they make available for an encyclopedic knowledge of the Koran. One imagines that their regular education takes second place.
