radioman Posted November 16, 2016 Author Report Posted November 16, 2016 I have a warm coat, duck feather I recall. It's in the cupboard, not much need for it in Thailand. I'll definitely be taking that.

Coss Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 I am spending Christmas in a little place called Nelson NZ Won't be cold at Xmas, Wineries, Orchards, Culture, Hippies, a little small townish, but seems to be enjoyed by all who go there, great outdoors nearby, tramping, hunting, trout and sea fishing, beautiful National Parks. You should have a good time. Oh they had a quake, (still after-shocking today) on the other side of the island in Kaikoura, pretty devastating to the roading etc, but not noticeable effect in the Nelson area.
bust Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 Yes have bee reading about it Will fly into Christchurch then rent a car. Looking forward to it.
Coss Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 You'll probably shoot over to the West Coast and then go north to Nelson , I reckon the traditional State Highway 1, north from Christchurch, will be a long time in the repair shop.
Specialist Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 I'm remembering a Sunday evening in Dallas, many years ago. I was at Cabaret Royale This was during the first couple of years it was open, when it was a REALLY good place. I found myself talking with a Sweet Young Thing from Stuttgart. She taught me to drink Jagermeister.
