I was trying to figure out under which law the player could have been sent off, like there is no specific “Thou Shalt not flash your meat and two veg” 

Probably Law 12 “The referee shall take action against a player who is guilty of using offensive, insulting or abusive language and or gestures. Gesturing in a provocative, derisory or inflammatory way.
