She all but said it - the reason why it has so many is because the great majority of "normal" Thai girls are so hard to shag. Once porked, a good girl's reputation is lost forever and they tend to want to keep their reps for marriage purposes. Jasmine brings out a good point and rebuttal concerning the statistic that 70% of Thai men lose their virginity. plainly said it appears that thai women are more virtuous or less "loose" which would force the Thai men to utilze the services of prostitutes. Funny that in the USA here we claim to have a more Puritanical view on human sexuality and the "virute" of our women who engage in sexual activity. I come across the following fact: A large-scale study conducted in 1995 by the National Center for Health Statistics found that 50% of females 15 to 19 years old--married and unmarried--reported having had intercourse at least once, down from 55% in 1990. Fewer than 10% of those surveyed had been married. A parallel survey conducted for the government by the Urban Institute in 1995 showed a similar change among never-married male teenagers: 55% of males between 15 and 19 years of age said that they had had intercourse at some point, down from 60% in 1988. Would it be safe to infer from the stats that our young American women are "sluts" and corrupted by sexual vices, therfore having little virtue? The facts surely don't agree with the global perception America is a sexually conservative country that keeps it's youth from engaging in sexual practices by instilling sound moral values. Jasmine I guess the point about MP's and brothels would mean that LOS is more open about the vices of the flesh and don't want to waste public resources in forcing it underground. why fight a fight that you can never win? I wonder what the numbers are on rape and sexual assault in LOS versus Western nations? Would love to see how they stack up. Men in America are very sexually frustrated lot why else would they pay $25 for a 30 second lap dance? Sexual assault here is huge and I attribute it partly to our culture that teases men with advertisements and media braodcasts of scantily clad nubile women displaying sex. Yet let a man try to solicit a prostitute to release his sexual tensions and he will be immediately criminalized, castigated and embarassed within his community. I have never heard that they would be involved in prostitution well infact they own many of the porno clubs and stripjoints in Stockholm and malmo from what i know..........
