El_Tel
Says BelgianBoy: I played only 2 computer games, chess in its early days, and the first version of tetris on gameboy, 10-11 years ago. Well, that could be the problem. Try installing one of the latest games on your pc and then letting us know how you feel. I recommend FIFA 2003, Tiger Woods PGA 2003 or Madden NFL 2004 for sports. Black Hawk Down, Star Wars Jedi Outcast or Medal Of Honor for shooters. Give it a go!
Straycat
...or Splinter Cell. I enjoyed that one tremendously! I hope they're programming a sequel!
khunsanuk
Hi, How about Rise of Nations in the strategy genre? And Diablo II, Dungeon Siege and the Baldur's Gate series in the RPG genre? Sanuk!
BelgianBoy
Guys, Nice to see some reactions here, even if it is to counter that chaos thread Yes, I am guilty that I volontered in the first tour for Nong Noi, dont think I made lots of contributions to improve the game, sorry there. Yes, I also played about 25 games in the past, I have about 22 cousins and nephews here ranging from 3 to 22 years old, at parties and dinners I do play with them sure, why not ! I have been through all the generations of games, like them for 1 hour, then its back to real life for this guy....... As for a casino, its fun when its twice a year for 2-3 hours max, I do play, but its more fun to watch other people loose their money Cheers ! Torneyboy
Hi BB Casinos...same as me the odds are just way against you. Friends that say( ""i won XXX) yeah ok ...how much did you spend to ""win""...never answer. My wife and i love games..we play dominoes/chess/cards....for real..no pc in sight. Talking of chess, have thought of asking KS if this could be done on the board? He has his hands full with NN and other matters at the moment. Could be fun..each have a board and pm each move every day?
BelgianBoy
TB, Nothing wrong in a casino IF you go there wit a budget and keep to your own rules...... I play only blackjack and nearly never loose..... why ? because if ones stick to the mathematical odds, they are 55 % in your favor. Of course each card can follow after each one, and with the automatic machines of today, no more cheating, but odds are still there. I usually go for 1-2 hours in frankfurt airpot on my way to LOS, never lost yet As for chess, no need for a board, been playing for years with a friend per e-mail Cheers ! gobbledonk
GTA is completely wicked I believe that several government bodies have expressed concern that their young people will grow up believing that car-jacking and assorted other crimes are 'normal behaviour', courtesy of GTA. I personally dont think that the majority of gamers are any more divorced from reality than the rest of society - we just choose our means of escape, instead of trying to find it in a bottle every time ..... Guest
Yes, but GTA may be a TAD over violent for some of our speed addicted brethern.... whereas Speed, last I saw it ,was far more skill and rush. In that same vein (55555) one could shoot Microsoft's best sim ..... Flight. Within a few decades, Boeing can abandon their training centers, and the CAE guys can retire ..... it will all done on your PC. Besides, by then no one will want to venture out into the 'real' world anyway. Now about these interneural, tactile response games in development......... :hubba: :hubba:
jp1
Boeing can abandon their training centers, and the CAE guys can retire ..... it will all done on your PC. That's what I doubt. On a home or office computer you'll never have the same effect (with life motion etc.) that flight training in a simulator can provide. But who knows? Maybe we have offices and homes that can be used for flight-simulation in quake prone areas?
