..
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but how about adding an RSS feed? It is very handy for some of the political blogs I read and I could see it being a good thing here too. Cheers, SD

Or have a way to turn them off or to turn off the Avitars. Avatars can be turned off in your personal settings, it speeds up the download too. khunsanuk
Hi, "Not sure if this has been brought up before, but how about adding an RSS feed?" Yes, I have been thinking of this, and FusionBB (which I favor) has this as part of the software. Sanuk!
Pat_from_Jersey
check out the pattayapages.com site. they do an excellent job. Our pages here load very slowly and there is never a topic "that caught fire". why not? I say copy PP.com site and start seeing success.
khunsanuk
Hi, "Our pages here load very slowly" Yep, and this is something we hope (expect) to solve by changing to a new message board software. "and there is never a topic "that caught fire". why not?" Just a setting. Currently a topic is considered a hot topic if it gets 25+ posts or 500+ views in a 24hr period. I could of course change that to much lower numbers, but what would be the point? "I say copy PP.com site and start seeing success." While the layout is nice and clean, I think that saying that we'll see success by just copying it is rather simplistic, don't you think? Sanuk! khunsanuk
Hi, While I agree that vBulletin is good (I had to install it for a client recently), there are certain things about it which I do not like. The admin area for instance is very complicated and I really do not like that they have put the templates in the database, just makes it annoying to change them. Sanuk! mycowjai
I see we have been discussing this for a couple of month. Khun Sanuk, you mentioned the new format is not likely to be changed until the end of the year. Just wondering where we are on that timetable. When do you think the new format will be up and running? Looking forward to the new and more modern interface.
