"Fleeing the scene of a crime, i guess not low life or irresponsible behavior in your book? "

Your statement above is a most curious bit of logic.

The drunken Thai guy just killed violently ...What he would hang out and wait for the police? They almost always run.Why would he wait for the police?

Been tippling at the old keyboard chappie?

FM,

Whose said that "it must be a falang, he is at fault.." This sure sounds like speculation on your part...

It doesn't matter to me whether he was chinse, japanese, Thai or a little puple guy, his behaviors and judgments will speak for themselves....

His behavior and associations lead to his death not that he was a falang. No different with pattaya assited suicides. But when one does see patterns within certain ethnic groups, stereo-typing is formed...Let me tell you thais have a good laugh at the scams that BGs or others pull on falangs. The falang image with Thais is rich, educated, gullible and not too street savy("stupid falang" just seems to roll off the tongue nicely). We all know these are only partial truths...

Certain cases follows certain patterns of behavior and this one has all the makings of the typical 'fuck-up" by this guy. Do stereo-types come out of this? Yes, whether justified or not....

Show me any thread in the news, discussion, relationship or nightlife sections that is pure fact and doesn't contain speculations, opinions, guesses, etc?

Every single post is one's opinion maybe fact, maybe partial truth or no truth at all. It doesn't really matter because that is the essence of what a message board is about. There is no pure right or wrong answers just opinions and comments on vaious topics..

And hey if you didn't know that it is falang's fault each and every time, then are you telling us that falangs are not at blame in every single traffic accident? Thais sure think so and even falangs themselves think so as they are always willing to cough up some baht at the time of the accident or when the police get involved........

If you are waiting for the complete facts, comprehensive truths, and divine wisdom, then opportunities and life will pass you by. Message boards must drive you crazy..

As i said, i am speculating or maybe its educated guessing? Either way, I am playing a probabilty game and i like my odds over a P.R. specialist (lets wait for the facts before jumping to conclusions). I guess that is why PR specialists never become CEOs or decision-makers...

Please define "true answer" for me? Will it be the next NP article? The guy's story or the girl's version? The parents of the deceased? Or maybe even a poster on this board? A police detective, or could it be a secret witness across the hall?

You are in for a long wait....In the meantime while you are waiting for the true facts to come out, many decisions right or wrong will be made, impact people and life moves on......

Again a lot of waffle.

I repeat my request ....Answer my questions with a simple yes or no.

1. Were you there at the time?

2. Do you know either of the three parties involved?

Have you ever thought of geeting a job in the Thai Police Force? They certainly need you! Your powers of deduction could not possibly be wrong even if you don't know the facts.

Yet within 72 hours (in fact you had sussed it all out within 36 hours) of the murder you've worked out the pattern of the crime scene, the relationships between the people, a step by step log of what happened that night, that the gf was an accomplice and they were scamming a farang, and many other assumptions.

Again please answer my questions with a yes or no

Why does knowing them count? We can all have our therioes at what happened, unless you yourself personally knew the people and find this personal, what harm is there in guessing what happened?

As i have stated, i was speculating as we all do in any of thiese board issues..

But lets carry your weak argument further. So if five other people were there, there is a good bet one would get a mixture of opinions and beliefs of what happened. Just because one is there doesn't mean it is fact on what happened. There might be right or wrong in their interpretation..One only gets partial information from witnesses or people involved; getting at the facts needs other sources and input...

Just because one is there, doesn't mean it is fact of what he believes what happened.. Look at the red flag in the english football game. hard to get an agreement or a fact as you like to call them on what truly happened. On what i so saw, no need for a red flay call and i will tell you i am no english football fan. Others saw it completely different. A belief or an opinion took place; not a fact....

If this was a doctor's diagnosis, testing for entry into a permit confined space, or another NASA space project, yeah i would say further testing will help or assit with validating a course of action....

But dude, (borrowing one from jjsushi) this is a message board where 98% of what is said is beliefs, opinions, guesswork, speculations, etc. Whether it is factual is case by case. Very little of what is said is factual and you can carry that to life in general...

As to thai police work, actually i have my application in and i will be doing some work in a volunteer capacity starting next month. But it will be simple things like helping falangs sort out things and translation work; i wish it was more investigatory work but they proabably prefer to keep that among thais..

I guess i will leave my magnifying glass at home...

As i said earlier, lets see what transpires in this case. I have no qualms admitting my speculations are wrong or inaccurate. But then again.....

My guess is that the thai guy was the boyfriend. Had one drink too many and no longer wanted to play the "farang fucks my GF" game.

Will be interesting to hear what the thai guy says when caught. Maybe he will have an entirely different theory than us.

CB: you may be right the thais are low socio econ types. But the farang who was merely inexperienced does not equate to contributing to his own demise. If he WAS experienced and chose to ignore the signs, because he liked the young girl too mutt, then your point would be stronger.

As you are speculating on the relationship between all three (the Thai guy was the girls Thai boyfriend - one of your assumptions) and that you assume that the farang was asking for it by inviting them all into the room together, then yes I think it is a valid question to ask whether you knew any of them.

Why do you find it so difficult to answer yes or no???

>> But dude, (borrowing one from jjsushi) this is a message board where 98% of what is said is beliefs, opinions, guesswork, speculations, etc <<

So you are saying there is no substance to your assessment of what really went on?

Mailuk made a good point [color:"red"]" But the farang who was merely inexperienced does not equate to contributing to his own demise. "[color:"black"]

I got to agree. I, like most people, was not born knowing everything.

This thinking it is always the victims fault is something that shows up on this board a lot.

Can you imagine the Thai man claiming [color:"red"]"The reason why the farang died was because it was his own fault. I was just the instrument to punish him for his folly. Stupid farang!"[color:"black"]

Sometimes I think this Thai mans best defense lawyer would be a farang who believes it was the farangs fault for why he died! At times, this arguments do seem believable.
