chuckwoww
Out of interest who lives on 50 baht per day I am curious.. You are right though, without money anywhere sucks; even paradise. STH I don't know STH. I was just making a point about money but I imagine there are a lot of Thais living on 50 baht a day...some old people in the villages probably live on less. shygye
Nigeria is the most free country. Everyone can do as they please because of the chaotic nature of the place.

chuckwoww
A girl I lived with in Chiang Mai took me to her village once. Her old mother was living in a leaky grass hut and she had nothing. She used to go out in the rice fields picking up any grains she could find. Neighbours gave her an egg now and then. When she died we found a thousand baht note in an envelope under her pillow. Duan's inheritance.

bust
Agree MR DAWG. Nearly relocated to little place called Nelson after the last Federal election. John Howard could learn a lot from Helen Clarke.
Bangkoktraveler
I would say with hands up that Thailand is more free then the USA. We live in both countries. We have a house in each country, but since 9/11 I have to say being free can be found more in Thailand then in the USA. That can change.
