Norton on this computer is about to run out in 3 weeks and looking to see what's out there that you think is decent. I use Microsoft Security Essentials . So far, no problems. Nervous God Posted November 25, 2010 Report Share Posted November 25, 2010 Well - I've installed 2 different anti virus programs in the last week. Avast - FARK - Nokia is a well known brand, it isn't a virus, Adobe have been making software for a long time, it isn't a virus and best of all, while Microcrap is annoying it's not a virus, so please don't REMOVE the infected files! ASK me first! Machine refused to start as half the OS was gone! So after having to reinstall the operating system, I used AVG yesterday. It immediately found the same virus, but fixed it, computer works great now. AVG - Good - bit of a memory hog, not a good interface to tell it NOT to do auto downloads, BUT fat better than Avfart!
