Wheels up HSV 1 Sep 2018 at oh-dark-something or so, arriving BKK around 11 PM local time. DEROS 18 Sep morning.

 

Hotel reservations in place, airfare paid.

No idea. Tragic, just tragic. Have taken up a new job in a tame little place, bringing to an end quite a few years of mandatory RnR holidays on a regular basis... I am an idiot to have applied for this job, when I could have stayed in well-paying, RnR-style gigs infinitely - fuck me for that poor judgment: Never Again!

With luck, I WON'T be struggling with walking pneumonia this trip, and will be comfortable walking decent distances. I had to skip several of my favorite spots the last few trips.

Daughter flying LHR to DOH then we fly together DOH to BKK. Happy to have missed the Songkhran madness but a long list of projects to work through while I'm back.
