teddy
My favourite is Clonakilty Black Pudding from Ireland, delicious stuff and I always pack a few in my bags when I have been to Ireland. Here's a good recipe from their site: Bacon, Clonakilty Blackpudding and Goats Cheese Pizza. 1 ready prepared pizza base 1 tablesp. passata - sieved tomato, or 2 - 3 sliced tomatoes 2 - 3 slices streaky bacon, diced and cooked 2 - 3 slices of Clonakilty Blackpudding, cooked and crumbled 50g (2 oz) goat's cheese, cut into small pieces A few sprigs of thyme To Cook. Set oven to the maximum. Spread the tomato mixture or sliced tomatoes over the base. Sprinkle on the bacon and Clonakilty Blackpudding, then the cheese and thyme. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until crisp and the cheese has melted. I could just do with a mouthfull of that right now.

sayjann
not bad Coss..... but i prefer White bread, grilled Tomatoes and no black pudding. grilled sausages are more acceptable to me then fried salami. i don't like food fried to a crisp so soft bacon and hash browns are good for me. and no crispy edges on eggs..... anything crispy means burnt to me...... and REAL baked beans are a must along with ketchup. Julian2
This isn't a bad breakfast for the relatively inactive who still fancy B&E.

sayjann
that simple meal is pretty good Coss. as i've said earlier sometimes simple is better. if you have the time to cook a full breakfast then no problem. but eggs or beans on toast/bread is a quickly cooked meal and tasty. And I love that Irish Soda Bread with an egg+bacon on top whilst in the Emerald Isle .
