I still think the Border Patrol should be on the border patrolling the border. When the rancher was killed, the local people had a meeting and the first thing said was "Get the Border Patrol on the border". Republicans want illegals as cheap labor, and Dems want to court the hispanic vote. So both sides are going to pass silly laws and make make silly gestures (build the wall, deploy the guard, whatever ...) and in the end nothing will change.
