acockasian
I have not bought one of these but am tempted. Comments welcome from any of our more technical posters or anyone who wants to slag me off for being worried. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=13314210
shygye
It is probably looking for jpg's with suggestive filenames. So have you forgotten where you stored the porn?
Coss
All travellers with electronic gear should carry some relatively harmless porn. To carry anything more risque or none at all is to invite inspection... The red herring is the most tasteless of fish...
TheCorinthian
Thats funny. "Porn Stick" is what we have called flash drives in the USMC for years!
khunsanuk
Hi, This looks like a serious invasion of privacy to me. I mean what right does anyone - and that includes parents / spouses - have to go through my *personal* stuff? Oh, and obviously this goes on the premise that porn (any and all kinds of porn) = EVIL. Sanuk!
dave32
In the Army they had me in an 8 man room for awhile. One of my roomies was this very crazy Puerto Rican dude, we'll call him Lopez. Good guy. So one day Lopez walks in and sees an op/ed piece clipped out from a newspaper someone had mailed me. It was an indictment of porn and described how those who viewed it couldn't have a healthy relationship. It was all negative exploitation. "Who the fuck wrote this bullshit!??!?" he says. Then scans down to see the same last name as mine (but different first name). "Oh, I'm sorry, is that your father?" Nah, that's my brother. The minister. acockasian
Agree completely! I want to know what someone is going to see on my computers when they look. US Customs now routinely "impounds" laptops and then they mail them back to you after a week or two.
