Pom Michael
We lost the thread about this - but I noticed still more and more letters to the editor about the problem. So looks like it has not been fixed yet. Any recent (since 15th Feb) experience in the OUTBOUND immigration leaving BKK Airport?

radioman
Any way to read BKK post letters on line? I thought there was but can't locate them now.
Pom Michael
The letters are saying the same thing that I have noticed the last 3 months. Lines that are 100 to 300 meters in length BEFORE you even get into the glassed off Immigration area. The last 3 months it has taken between 45 minutes and an hour to go through the line. It is not a high season problem - this didn't happen in past years. The number of pax moving through the airport is no where close to the maximum it has done - so why is this happening is what the letters are asking. Lots of theories - but no one in charge coming out to say what is being done to rectify it. And come on - do you really need an actual Immigration Police officer to do this job? The whole concept of a passport and as stamped page is really outdated now.

LizardKing
As I posted that got eaten in the Time Warp: no issue last week at 1800 on a weekday. Several lines with ~10 folk's each. Less than a minute a person on my line.
cavanami
I will be in the line this week at 0500...sooo, will see...last week was a fluster cluck, HUGE lines, slow moving, Thai ONLY Immi counters empty and the Immi officers, picking their nose for hours while the farangs stood in line for over an hour! Specialist
I was there about a week ago, at about 0600. It wasn't bad. I didn't time it, but there were several lines open, probably about ten passengers per line, not a big deal.
