My prejudices about third world standards come into play, but this being Mecca, one would have thought that the crane was properly installed. Mekong Posted September 13, 2015 Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 Looking at some photos and it appears the crawler crane did not tip forward, that is in the direction of the load attached to the the jib, but in fact toppled backward in the direction of the counterweight on the mast.
