Coss
DeepSeek has wiped 1 trillion from Wallstreet - see - media everywhere it’s not just the money imho it’s one side of the argument between too much control and the most lack of control of free information. China = too much Usa = lack of we the general public are the sporting field on which this plays out. Oh and Eion’s secretly in love with Zuckerberg. I know this is true because X said so and 356 million people followed it.
Old Hippie
You’d better hope china loses this one… I’m no fan of USA global domination, but it beats the hell out of what China would do…
bust
It's pretty much a censored AI. Friend of mine who works in the media uploaded a video testing that theory. I'll see if I can upload it.
My Penis is hungry
I've used it quite a bit, works well I like how it shows its processes then gives citations. OH what would China do? USA bombs the fuck out of everyone China hasn't invaded anyone for decades, did it once and does t have a history to repeat

OH what would China do? USA bombs the fuck out of everyone China hasn't invaded anyone for decades, did it once and does t have a history to repeat 1) China oppresses human right far worse than the USA does, and we are pretty damned bad about it. I know people from mainland china here, they are latterly a “dime a dozen” in these parts, they all say the same thing, there are 2 China’s 1 the tourists see and “the real China” that many foreigners never see. I could go on, but I’d be accused of furthering USA propaganda. I’ll leave it at “…you see a lot of them coming here(there everywhere) but you seldom if ever see the westerners going there to make it big…” Yes the USA bombs the shit out of countries, your point is? I’ll state in many cases, it has been wrong/illegal and those in power should be charged with war crimes and human rights violations. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were unnecessary in terms of “fighting terrorism” and were ONLY about pipelines and oil… China invaded (militarily) Vietnam in 1979 (yes decades ago) and got their ass handed to them. They did so to “punish Vietnam” for invading/liberating Cambodia from the Chinese backed Khmer Rouge. China currently is playing the same game the USA and other countries has played, mainly invading countries financially in order to exploit resources and people. The bottom line question remains, you/we will/do live under the boot of oppression, would you rather it be an American/western boot or a Chinese boot “communist” boot? In the west you can legally watch porn and smoke weed and pretty much do what you want/can afford. Under the Chinese boot, you can’t…there are other reasons why I’d pick the western boot. In short, I consider the Chinese government’s bullshit a lot worse than that of the USA Government’s bullshit.

But in China you can Cross the road when safe to do so without getting ticketed for jaywalking Drink alcohol in the Park / Street / Beach Drink Alcohol at 18 Get Mandatory 90 days paid maternity leave Minimum 3 Months mandatory sick pay Minimum 5 days paid mandatory vacation rising to 15 You are used to being under the American boot and accept the restrictions imposed as normal

I do accept restrictions here as normal and some I don’t like and can freely say so with fear of government reprisal. While I dislike my government on many levels, I don’t live in fear of them the way some people do. Certainly in China you cannot form Militia groups that advocate over throwing the government, oppressing/exterminating enemies and racial groups etc…How would China have handled a January 6th situation? I also know what Chinese people tell me about the place. In the USA and other places, it is ok to be critical of the government without fear, view things that are NOT allowed in China (unless part of the elite regime) and other things as simple as ballroom dancing, listening to certain music reading political literature etc…as I said, you see Chinese people leaving to set up shop abroad and to seek greater freedoms, you don’t see as many westerners heading that way for the same reason do you? “ American boot” is real I agree, oppressive, racist etc, but if given a choice, would you rather live under a western boot or the Chinese boot? Pick 1… BTW, here in California, the state will pay you for time off if you have a kid, up to 90 days, you can also get FMLA (Family medical leave act) for 90 days…many jobs do pay time off for having a kid, which I disagree with as I feel having a kid is a choice and I should not have to take less to give them more as it comes out of the same till. Holiday/vacation pay I always felt was too little too late in the USA. After 30+ years, I get 7 weeks+ 4 floating holidays and 6 deferrable, so 9 weeks and if I play it right but it took that long to get. 3 months sick pay? We accrue 1 day (8hrs) per month here takes about 10 years to hit max time accrual, which I also disagree with. Sick is sick, there should be a safety net to keep you from falling into poverty simply because you fell ill. Drinking at 18…was the law in many/most states pre Ronnie Regan (that asshole) He with held highway aid to states that refused to play along with his demanding the age be changed to 21 nationally, which I also disagree with, Montana was the last state to hold out. Certain beaches and parks and streets allow public consumption of alcohol. The problem isn’t so much the parks as the assholes who can’t drink responsibly and get drunk and annoy others and cause problems. I got ticketed for Jaywalking once, it was bullshit. Police harassment is a real thing here, NOT based on race as much as it is on appearance and the cops bullshit attitudes and lack of training. My ticket got tossed out of court, I tried to hold the cop accountable for his bullshit, good luck with that… But still, I prefer a country where I can say “fuck my government” without fear. Is it perfect? Hell no, no place is, but as I said if I have a choice of one over the other, I’d take “western style oppression” over “Chinese oppression” any day. So would many Chinese people. My Penis is hungry
Any geeks this article is highly recommended https://youtubetranscriptoptimizer.com/blog/05_the_short_case_for_nvda NVIDIA's dominance in AI infrastructure—driven by its near-monopoly on high-margin GPUs, exploding demand for AI training/inference, and transformative applications like humanoid robots—faces underappreciated risks: data scarcity limits training-scale growth, algorithmic efficiency (e.g., DeepSeek’s R1) and in-house chips from Big Tech threaten hardware reliance, while unsustainable capex and rapid GPU obsolescence risk margin erosion.** Though AI’s long-term potential is undeniable, Nvidia’s sky-high valuation overlooks these headwinds, leaving the stock vulnerable as markets eventually price in the reality that compute demand may plateau or fragment, challenging its stranglehold on the AI gold rush. Or Oh, sure, NVIDIA's "dominance" is totally unassailable. I mean, who could possibly challenge their... checks notes ...near-monopoly? It's not like anyone's working on, say, more efficient algorithms or anything. And data scarcity? Please! We've got infinite data! Training scale can grow forever! Humanoid robots? They're buying GPUs hand over fist! (Ignoring, of course, the fact that they're still mostly falling over). And those "risks" everyone's so worried about? Please. Big Tech making their own chips? A minor inconvenience. Unsustainable capex and rapid GPU obsolescence? Just a flea bite on their otherwise perfect margins. Who needs profitability when you have hype? So, yes, NVIDIA's valuation is completely justified. It's not like the market is ever wrong or prone to, you know, reality checks. The idea that compute demand might plateau or, gasp, fragment? Preposterous! NVIDIA's stranglehold on the AI "gold rush" (because that's not a slightly overused metaphor) is guaranteed to last forever. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go buy some more shares before they go even higher! (Don't worry, I'll be totally surprised if they don't).
