Odd he knew to ask for $118,000 ransom...which was the amount the father had received as a bonus, an odd amount to ask for...and the rough drafts of the ransom note, from a pad left at the scene, never could prove the letter was or was not written by the mother...very odd story for sure. dean Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 I flipped around the morning news shows and it was reported that, for a college paper that he was writing while in college some time after the murder, he was writing about the murder and disclosed things that were not revealed by the police. His college professor incouraged him to write more on the subject. At this time, he did interview the grandparents of Jonbenet but not the parents. It seems to be the knowledge that he had about the case and his e-mails to his peofessor, who eventually contacted the police, that peaked the curiosity of the police. OCgringo Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 I think the guy is wacho.... looking to be on TV yes he knows about the story , but also about Polly Klas another young girl that was killed. he was obsessed with both these cases, There is a press conference on TV right now with everyone patting each others back , I hope they have more evidence than this guys emails and letters, and if he confesses that they still have to prove it....
