The_Munchmaster
More important, Benficas win ensured that Celtic are into the knockout stages of the CL again.
Zaad
To be very honest though (kinda like an honest day today or something) I think we'll fit better in the UEFA this season. I see no reason why we should lose big time in the CL quarters. Goodluck!
teddy
He He He, 4-0 to Liverpool, always knew we would go through comfortably, off to bed now

teddy
Bollocks, I was cool as a cucumber about qualifying, never in doubt. 16 goals in the last 3 games, should have been 82 though
sayjann
so Rangers fail to make ita clean sweep for the Brits. possible opponents for the Brits at the next stage. ARSENAL Porto Real Madrid Milan Barcalona Inter Sevilla CHELSEA Olympiakos Celtic Lyon Roma Fenerbahce LIVERPOOL Real Madrid Milan Barcalona Inter Sevilla MAN UTD Schalke 04 Olympiakos Celtic Lyon Fenerbahce so Arsenal and Liverpool on paper have what looks like the harder draws. but there are some Teams that MU and Chelsea could slip against. for MU there are possible trips to Greece or Turkey and i never like those. Lyon are looking good and could be a tough nut to crack. i would prefer a tie with Celtic or Schalke 04. but all the Teams are capable of springing that surprise. but i fancy taking on anyone at Old Trafford. Steve
Why do I get the feeling all the English clubs will go through the next knockout phase? My choice in order of who I'd like to face: Porto AC Milan Inter Milan Barcelona Real Madrid

Zaad
I personally think Internazionale and Madrid are the strongest now, followed by AC and Barca, there's not much difference between these teams though and since the next matches are in Feb. their form could be nowhere near it's now. AC and Barca are likely going to peak around that period of those matches. Sometimes big teams like these tend to think too easily about the group matches and not show their full potential until the Q-finals. I see Stevo wants to avoid the Italians. I think you're correct Steve. The Italians would likely close the game and turn it into a 1-2 goal-scoring opportunities kind of game whereas the Spanish play a more open style. That's the football Arsenal would suit..and their opponent as well though but more chance of progressing when you play to your strengths. Teddy...AC again?
