Her reasoning is that some farangs will pay what ever price that is quoted but there is the occasional farang who will negotiate down to what is her acceptable price. Which is what seems to happen at Nana . It's mostly rich Thais shopping in those sorts of places. Whether it's girls or clothes you can pick up cheap rubbish from the street if you really want to. HH If you want the quality girls (there are a few diamonds among the rough in Martini and Sharkey) they definitely won't accept $10. I don't know about the skanks because I never asked. In others (a growing number I think) many girls have been spoiled by guys who don't know better, or by having sponsors etc...send a girl 20,000 a month to stay home and do nothing, she isn't going to get off her ass for 1000... Boy, I know girls like this... I don't know what's the matter with Australian men at the moment (Australian women? ) but there seem to be a lot of suckers from there. They're the ones making these kind of girls. Some are OK. I talked to one on my way home last night who told a similar story of being sponsored for more money than she needed from an Aussie but, after bending my eye for 30 minutes about her life, asked me if she could come home with me because she was "lonely" Others are too up their own arses to ever come down. I've got one who's been so pampered that she has tantrums when you say 'maybe' to her and she's only got worse, even as she loses men by the truckload. Despite her great body, no one can stay with her. I try to tell her but she will never listen. Face: it's the same with girl pricing and condos. Bangkok has, at times, been full of empty apartments and office blocks. Do landlords ever lower their prices to a reasonable level to make up for this? No, they'd rather the buildings stay empty. Girls hold out for stupid prices for the same reason. Maybe a few great looking girls can sustain high prices. Take myself for instance, I'm not the 'handsome man' I once was, but I refuse to entertain the idea of taking the bar grannie out for the evening, I want a cutie, and if I can't get my hands on one, I would rather go home alone, than compromise my expectations. Do you feel bad offering a girl half of what she asks for ? not 1000 down to 500baht in BKK , but more like 2000 down to your normal 1000 ST. You would not give a rat's ass about a car sales man trying to jack you out of 3 times the price for a car, so why let a whore/anyone else? You go to negotiate on a new car/condo/house/whatever, do you care if the salesperson has kids they have to feed? or rent to pay? Fuck no you don't, and they don't care about you and your problems either. They want all they can get, and you want to keep all you can keep of your hard earned money. What makes you think bar girls are any different? Do you really believe the crap they throw at you? Do any of you for even 1 second really believe they care anything at all about you? Hell no THEY DO NOT! *SOME* are respectful, which of course you should be as well, but that is it, nothing more. Again, these girls exploit us, we exploit them. They play there game of trying to get all they can, we try to keep all we can...They want all they can get doing as little as possible to earn it (3000bht starfish), we want as much as we can get, paying as little as possible (porn star sex for 500bht), this is business, this IS THE GAME!
