Gentlemen, What do you think of this half-baked plan : I want to see Isaan but I dont know my way around. The answer is blindingly simple - I take my two favourite prostitutes on a 'family holiday' - their families, my holiday. We go to Buriram, Khon Khaen and Udon Thani - they can see their folks and I can ask myself what the hell I would do out there ... I think its gold - we could do it in 4 or 5 days, only one needs barfines paid and I'm sure we'd be greeted with open arms wherever we went. The girls already get on fabulously (despite some initial name calling and territorial squabbles) - how could a plan this brilliant go wrong ? Seriously, what the hell would I do in Isaan ? I agree that the cost of living would have to be lower than BKK, but unless I was married etc, I just cant see why I would hang out in the sticks when all the action is in the city. I have just cracked another rib laughing at your shite - its only funny because that is exactly what the copy on a lot Chinese ads translates to : amazing stuff. Goes a long way to explaining why they had a complex civilization when we were still lurking in caves, then nothing new till about 1990. :smirk: I felt frustrated because I couldnt read Chinese when I went to HK/Guanxi, but am somewhat relieved when I see translations like that above - am very much hoping that Thai ads will prove to be slightly more illuminating when I learn how to read them.
