soongmak
Say what you want about America, but it has at least an intellectual elite that is capable of critical thinking. You want research on recent historic events? It's almost certain some great mind has written a thorough book on it. You can forget about that shit in the Netherlands. We are intellectually lazy to the extreme. And I love their literature: Paul Auster, Chuck Pahlaniuk, Brett Easton Ellis and of course T. Coraghessan Boyle. I love american modern jazz and fusion and am a great fan of the hollywood movies of the seventies. That all ended with Star Wars, sadly.
