Sure you can go to the police station but everybody knows you want to get the matter settled ahead of time so you don't go to the police station. Now if you go to the police station, you still will have to pay, but know the amount will be more. The last place anybody wants to do is go to jail and then have a trial. If you have ever seen a trial involving a farang, all you can do is shake your head. All one can hope for is that the translater they can afford has a nice looking ass. Walk into "almost" any Pharmacy and you can buy Vit "V", "K" or whatever...no problems Yet, by Law it's classified at the same level as Acid!!!! Does anyone? Last year, while going to meet a girl in an after hours place in Petchburi, I got stopped and searched (for narcotics, I assume). I forgot I had half a tablet of a Cialis copy in my little jeans pocket (a "just in case" thing I used to carry around in case I get too drunk or whatever). The police asked what it was and if I had a prescription. I said I didn't have one and wasn't too bothered (I was more bothered by the girl calling me at the same time, in a club just down the road). They wanted to know where I'd got it. A pharmacy. Where? I couldn't remember. The pharmacy was "bad" for doing that, apparently. One of them started to talk about taking me in. Again, I was more bothered with meeting the girl so didn't seem scared, and kept talking to her on the phone. Nonchalent, I kept asking if it was OK to leave now. Eventually they got kind of confused, maybe thinking it wasn't worth the trouble. Not only did they not nab me - they handed back the tablet! Would they have done that with a tab of Acid?
