Ok, so I'm a "hair trigger hot head" sometimes, guess it's hard to teach an old Monger new tricks... The responses above, in particular, yours, samak's and torrenova's (straight to the point, no BS), together with the phone calls, sms's and emails I've received over the past 15 hours or so have made me re think my actions.(..and I wasn't even having a drink last nyt...) Have just finished a 30 minute "session" on the phone with my "Reality" Therapist...Dr. bust. Many people here know each other personally and have been to each others weddings, social functions etc. . Many meet eachother regularly. I used to be in the loop in that regards years ago. Now I barely know anymore who is who. But I can imagine SD having been called by his friends or emailed etc. Hell I have received phonecalls over messages placed here and personal emails. And I am not even in the "loop" anymore. Fair enough - I guess I am with you now. I honestly wasnt looking for a fight.... I just didnt get the notion of several, if not dozens of board members getting so upset about the ummm... 'event'. I respect the fact that many of you guys are friends and understand how it would piss you off if one of your buddies was no longer around to talk to on the forum. Fair enough. I have been posting on and off on this forum since 2003. I usualy go through fazes of posting, usualy forgeting my password and not posting for 6 months or so before re-joining. I cant honestly remember it being an old soldiers club back then - but, and i stress BUT.... if it is now, thats fine. It actualy makes it a little better. More friendly and personal. I donâ??t have the patience to be a teacher and to have all those desirable, sweet, school uniform wearing, mischievous, energetic youth surrounding me day in, day out, would make a lesser man go insane (I am talking about girls of a legal age) â?? it would make me go insane. It is why I donâ??t frequent pole dancing/lap bars in Oz, just seems to be a frustration exercise. However, I surely do in Thailand or other south eastern countries of the mysterious east. To answer your question OH, no, I am just a surely wine sipping old lawyer who thank god, does not look like Horace Rumpole, yet! Hmmm, one more post and i shall go past the Don.
