It is Thai culture revenging itself. It is not done in Thai culture to make a plan and think ahead. Which is why no-one has a plan. All else is futile. p.s. Our friend from Hua Hin will be in Korat this weekend for the (likely much diminished due to the airports being closed) hot air balloon festival in the army post nearby. I will pop down I think sans family to meet him. You should drive up for a day and a night and meet us there. Cheap, decent hotels can be had in Korat.
