samak Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 i would not dare to claim somthing like that! your stay at the infamous 1.5 star hotel among crowds of chinese tour groups was probably just a blooper in your record of staying at the finest hotels in the country! as someone who spends more than 10 weeks per year in China i can certainly say that your experiences with those chinese tour groups are not representative! IF i wanted to visit Thailand in the next Year or so i would and i would have no spending restrictions. would pay silly money for a good time as i am loaded with cash at the moment. if like me you plan a once a Year trip then it makes sense to have the cash. no point in going if you have to scrimp and scrape to get by while on holiday...........
