Bangkoktraveler
Limburger chesse is my favorite. Put a slice of limburger in a sandwich with a slice of onion and mustard which makes a good meal along with a bowl of chili. To complement the meal, one needs a nice draught beer with a head on it. khunsanuk
Hi, Last time I was in Holland my dad had some Old Amsterdam at home. Was very pleasantly surprised. I usually just have Gouda though (Belegen). Don't think I've ever tried Leidse Kaas. Did try Ementhaler recently and didn't like it at all. Sanuk! Zaad
Muncie, Just needed to share it, but wasn't worthy of a new thread, besides, it took me only a few sec with the search option and was nice to reread this thread P.S. the record is a bonus KS, I noticed a "Gouda Kaas" from New Zealand (Brand: Mainland) as well. Kinda weird, thought it was Dutch, perhaps they bought the name or so.. have you tried this one?
Zaad
tescos own brand ready sliced goes well on top of mashed sardines on toast (wholemeal of course) with worcster sauce....all melted under the grill!! Goes down well in combination with bread, anjovis and onion. And of course red wine or Port (or Whiskey)
