Bubi,

Dont misunderstand me, I have no sympathy at all for Galt. none.

Just tired that this BS appears here.

In most European countries, those charges would just plainly be dismissed before coming to court.

Plain simple.

So, to state that in "all countries" this is first offence and probation is thus plain BS.

Plain simple. but who cares he ?

Back to our regular program please.

My advice on avoiding forum relatet "BS" would be simply stop reading it . Some US tribesmen kept each other here buzy discussing possible US strategies against Thai based farang slander . Up to them .

I agree that at least in Central European countries cases like this one would end in minor sentences if accepted by the court at all . Would the type of slander be a real serious one , worth being accepted by the court , probation would certainly be granted to first-timers . Which is all the man wanted to say .

As I said before , I am extremely surprised that a Thai court deals with this matter in such a hard way . But this is up to them as it is their country .

I don't doubt it. But we all know the real action is behind the scenes. I'm just wondering if this case is important enough for the Embassy to get involved.

Hmmm, let's recap here.

In the red corner, we have a whoremonger and whackjob internet keyboard warrior.

In the blue corner we have a real estate developer with, shall we say, a questionable code of ethics. He does, after all, do business in Pattaya.

Yes sirree ... no doubt President Obama, half of congress, and Fox News will collectively move heaven and earth to free these fine citizens of their Thai legal obligations.

Since the plaintiff is not a real estate developer, but is a real estate broker and you obviously do not know the plaintiff at all, excepting for what you may have read, doesn't that qualify you as having a questionable code of ethics? Think about it!

I predict a surge in US troops next year visiting pattaya to quell the uprising.
