>>bulletproof vests

.. if its true, it's a pity the 9 murdered by Israel's finest weren't wearing them.

Murdered. Interesting. So someone is trying to kill you with a knife or a metal pipe, and you shoot them, to you that's cold blooded murder. OK. Have another Kool-Aid, I guess.

Hm. an old friend of mine who's Jewish idolizes Cat Stevens, can play all his songs and often does, such as....

Just sit down, take it easy, you're still young, that's your fault, there's so much you have to know.

I dunno man, it's bad enough there's so many fanatics involved in that situation already, don't think they need any Connor Purcells or Jeff Savages in it too.

Picture the scene...

I'm ok with the videos, if you can think of how to shoot this scene from your imagination, I'll happily take a look.

Dude seriously, you can't make it thru a sentence without going over the top.

What's this all about.

>>And you seem to think everyone who doesn't agree with you is a Zionist sympathiser or worse!

... yes, I do. You certainly appear to be a Zionist, someone who approves of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians to make way for Jewish immigrants. You have said so in previous posts... why don't they piss off quietly and get absorbed elsewhere.

You blindly support the state of Israel when their every outrage further endangers American service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.... wars which Israel caused but won't fight in and leave Americans and their true allies to fight on their behalf. Read what your military has to say about Israel

Who come first in your book, Flasher, USA or Israel?

>>You don't believe the IDF

... I most certainly do not. They have a proven track record of lying. Ask the parents of American peace activist Rachel Corrie amongst many others.

<< The Israeli military today released footage of weapons it says were found during deadly commando raids on a flotilla of ships bound for Gaza.

Improvised explosives' date=' knives, machetes, catapults and gas masks were among the cache allegedly retrieved from the six-strong fleet which was stormed on Monday.

The images were released by the Israel Defence Forces, who claim the weapons were used against navy personnel when they boarded the ship. >>

Mac....WHERE are you seeing this?

Sorry....the link did not load.

I am not seeing any guns or military weapons.

It loaded just fine for me. Possibly your ISP doesn't like pictures of weapons.

From the Jerusalem Post, so view it with as much suspicion as you would news on Al Jazerra, but ...

<< Dozens of passengers who were aboard the Mavi Marmara Turkish passenger ship are suspected of having connections with global jihad-affiliated terrorist organizations, defense officials said on Tuesday, amid growing concerns that Turkish warships would accompany a future flotilla to the Gaza Strip.

According to the defense officials, the IDF has identified about 50 passengers on the ship who could have terrorist connections with global jihad-affiliated groups.

During its searches of the Mavi Marmara on Tuesday, the military also discovered a cache of bulletproof vests and night-vision goggles, as well as gas masks. On Monday morning, at least nine foreign activists were killed during the navy’s takeover of the Mavi Marmara, which was trying to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The group of over 50 passengers with possible terror connections have refused to identify themselves and were not carrying passports. Many of them were carrying envelopes packed with thousands of dollars in cash.

The military is working to identify the passengers and is looking into the possibility that some of them have been involved in terror attacks. Some of them are apparently known Islamic extremists.

“This is the group that was behind the violent lynch against the naval commandos,†a defense official said. “They came on board the ship prepared and after they had trained for the expected navy takeover. >>

The problem is that this will be the same intelligence that the US invaded Iraq over, ie., weapons of mass destruction.

Distorted or complete fabrication mixed in with some stuff that is probably the best intelligence available when it comes to certain groups.

>>Supposedly, the seized ships were transporting "humanitarian aid". However, when the Israelis searched the seized ship, they found bulletproof vests, night-vision goggles, and gas masks.

.... what utter bollocks! That would have been the propaganda coup of the decade for Israel, but not a word of this even in the Israeli press. Quote your source for this, or you :liar: undermine all your credibility.

Scroll down to the paragraph after the "Related Links" item, and you will read "During its searches of the Mavi Marmara on Tuesday, the military also discovered a cache of bulletproof vests and night-vision goggles, as well as gas masks."

Proper decorum demands that you apologize for that :liar: crack.

...yes, it is murder when you board a ship in international waters and shoot dead a person who is perfectly entitled to resist you. Hello...it's the Israelis who did the attacking, not the other way around, mate. A very poor attempt at spin, mate... 9 dead bodies, Israeli thugs holding smoking guns, and yet somehow the Israelis are the victims. :spin::spin:

>>I dunno man, it's bad enough there's so many fanatics involved in that situation already, don't think they need any Connor Purcells or Jeff Savages in it too.

... pissweak attempt to besmirch me, and a red herring. Desperado :topic: stuff. We're discussing here a piracy and murder in the Eastern Mediterranean perpetrated by a so called freedom loving, civilised democracy 3000 miles away from Bangkok.

Thanks for quoting your source.

As I said to Flashermac above, I don't give much credence to unidentified IDF spokespersons in the Jerusalem Post

Specialist and Flashermac. You're not one and the same by any chance are you? You quote the same obscure sources, and closely timed together. :hmmm:

U.S. aid was about 3 or 4 billion USD a year but has been going down slightly each year for the past few years

http://wrmea.org/component/content/article/245-2008-november/3845-congress-watch-a-conservative-estimate-of-total-direct-us-aid-to-israel-almost-114-billion.html

and is now about 2.4 billion USD.

It really isn't that much money when you consider the size and scope of the total U.S. budget. It will be one of the last things cut because of political pressure and also because its fairly insignificant for the amount of influence the money gets us there.

Its not 2 billion but American jewish organizations send a ton of money to Israel as well.

Whether they deserve to be in Israel or not, its just not possible for all the Palestinian arabs to be repatriated in Israel. It simply won't work for obvious reasons. The best solution seems to me to be for the surroundig countries like Syria and Lebanon to either accept them (assuming the Palestinians would accept this...a big ask) or give up parts of their territory to form a new country for the Palestinians.

The problem is that it is spread among many different govt agencies. There is the outright foreign aid, military purchases FROM Israel at highly inflated prices, even grants from agencies like the US Dept of Agriculture. The total is very, very high.

If you think that the US went into the war with Iraq based on the intelligence from Israel regarding weapons of mass destruction then the cost becomes incalculable.

I hope that we are not being led the same way into war with Iran.

Norman Finkelstein has a good book out about the Holocaust Industry. He speaks all over the US.

... Perhaps get retired IDF General Shlomo Brom (above) to run it past you. He seems to think he could have conducted a more successful operation than Israel's finest's surprise :rotfl: stealth :monkey::elephant::wave: pirate attack with 6 hours advanced notice and full knowledge of deck activity from drones. It's a wonder they weren't wearing fluorescent jackets.

Don't you have even the slightest sneaky little feeling that such an amateurish almighty cock-up by supposed super professional commandos, followed by Israel's disingenuous shock horror that the activists might actually resist this unannounced boarding, may have been stage managed?

Then have the cameras rolling to provide some handy footage to edit later into propaganda for the likes of gullible Fox Noise viewers to swallow. :spin:
