We didn’t have to wait long for Israel’s latest outrage

<< ... if you agree that it's right to occupy and oppress Palestinians for 62 years, to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from villages they've lived in for centuries to make way for Jewish immigrants from all over the world, as you have admitted to, Flashermac.. then you're a Zionist. >>

And just show me where I have admitted any such thing? You're a great one for putting words into people's mouths.

So what is your solution? The Jews all pack up and "go home"? Think the Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis etc will give the Sefardic Jews back what they were forced to leave behind in 1941? Seems reasonable to me, a fair swap off. Maybe the UN can arrange it.

It’s time for Israel to make a few smarter decisions that will actually improve their security and standing in the world. They are on a suicide mission at the moment' date=' because one day some enemy will have more (or dirtier) fire power than they have.

Make a just peace now, Israel, before it’s too late.[/quote']I ask in all sincerity: What do you suggest?

And, hypothetically, assuming for the sake of discussion that Israel does adopt your plan, and everyone manages to agree on a "just peace", that is equally satisfactory to *ALL* parties, what, in your opinion, should be Israel's response when and if Hamas starts shooting rockets again?

YOUR Quote, is the best reason, I have ever heard, for Isreal to MAKE A FIRST STRIKE.

It's been proven, Hamas, and the other terrorist states, are non-stop, no matter, what Israel does.

Shyge,

I am outraged at armed men boarding ships in international waters, killing passengers on board who attempt to resist and then forcing their ship to the hijackers' home port. I am, of course, talking about the Somali pirates who are preying on Western ships in the Indian Ocean. How dare those terrorists dare to touch our unarmed vessels on the high seas? And how right we are to have our warships there to prevent such terrorist acts.

At least the Israelis have not demanded ransom. They just want to get journalists and people like you, shyge, to win the propaganda war for them. You are swallowing their script hook line and sinker.

Yours is a strange sort of logic, shyge, that says how dare these protesters resist Israel when they hijack their ship in international waters, killing nine people. Does it ever occur to you that the Israeli thug shown being hit by activists is carrying a gun that has just killed an activist or is just about to. I hope your mates would help you if a mugger pointed a gun at you.

Taking your logic to its ridiculous extreme, do you also believe that the heroic 9/11 passengers on Flight 93 had no right to resist Al Qaeda terrorists?

An Al Jazeera reporter says there was definitely live fire from the helicopters before the Israeli thugs hit the deck. Of course the Israeli apologists will claim he’s lying.

Well, easy to clear the matter up – release the full unedited film showing the start of the attack, and the footage shot by Al Jazeera and others that the Israelis have stolen. Perhaps Hillary’s "prompt, impartial credible and transparent investigation" will have access to all sources….. if some doesn’t disappear in the meantime. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

>>Now, almost nightly small arms and missles, are shot at Israel. I would not give them a chance to get bigger weapons either.

… the bigger weapons come through the Egyptian tunnels anyway. Hezbollah now has long range missiles from Iran and Syria.

This illegal blockade of Gaza has nothing to do with Israel increasing its security. It’s all to do with the collective punishment of Palestinians.

Otherwise, why does Israel trickle through aid at a rate of 25% of what UN needs, and has petty humiliating lists of prohibited items such as as chocolate, jam, wood, fruit juice, plastic toys and notebooks. Cinnamon is allowed, but not coriander. Frozen meat, but not fresh meat or livestock.

How does it help Israel’s security when Israelis do this….

“Taysir Al Burai is severely disabled. He requires round-the-clock medical care. If he were allowed to leave Gaza, he could make a full recovery. But Israel won't let him.

Ramzi al Burai knows better than most what it means to be imprisoned. This week's botched commando raid on the flotilla of pro-Palestinian aid activists trying to reach Gaza has swung the global spotlight on the Israeli-imposed blockade as never before, but the Al Burai family have been living that reality for the past three years.

Their severely disabled son, Taysir, requires round-the-clock care. Neither Ramzi nor his wife can leave the five-year-old for longer than an hour. Part-asphyxiated during delivery, the boy suffers from an acute neurological disorder. He is unable to talk properly, suffers spasms and anti-convulsant medication has left him partially paralysed.

If his parents could only get him to Germany, or even just across the border to Israel, he would be able to get the specialist medical care that doctors say could lead to a full recovery. Ramzi has repeatedly appealed to the Israeli authorities to allow his son out of the tiny coastal enclave, but has been refused each time.â€Â

I notice that even Mr Slime himself Tony Blair is now saying what I said 2 days ago “Mr Blair said this was why he had been telling Israeli leaders "that because Hamas will get whatever they want through the tunnels [carrying smuggled goods from Egypt] actually this is a counter-productive policy. You stop the legitimate goods coming in legitimately". Illegitimate imports – at black market prices – went through the tunnels, and "the weapons are coming in by the tunnels".

Mr Blair's remarks came after The New York Times yesterday quoted senior US officials as saying the Obama administration considered the blockade untenable and would press Israel for "another approach" that would ensure Israel's security while allowing more supplies into Gaza.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/tony-blair-former-pm-urges-israel-to-ease-gaza-blockade-1991105.html

How about the idea that I suggested 12 months ago that Israeli apologists here scoffed at.

Allow free access of all legitimate goods from Egypt and Israel with the Egyptian checkpoint carrying Israeli observers.

Have a no go strip 150m wide the length of the tunneling area, which Israel can use randomly without warning as a firing range for bunker buster bombs.

The war crime of collective punishment would end. Gazans again would look to the UN as provider rather than Hamas. People would be gainfully employed. If tunnelers want to risk their lives, well good luck but more fool them.

It would be a start again of détente at least. Hamas long before the Gazan invasion last year offered an indefinite truce. Meanwhile in this calmer atmosphere negotiations to release IDF hostage Gilad Shalit in return for Hamas prisoners may have a chance of success.

israel has got to start thinking smarter than its usual bull in a china shop policy. It is counter productive.

>> As long as, they are given 5 minutes to man the life boats, I have no problem with [sinking the Rachel Corrie] whatever. This is about the only way I can think of to prevent another try next week. With a little luck, I would like to see the Press, onboard, get a leaky lifeboat.

..You sound like a wonderful humanitarian, Sporty, who shares the same psychopathic indifference to life as the Israeli thugs who hijacked the first boat.

>>This is about the only way I can think of to prevent another try next week.

... you seem to have a very limited imagination then, Sporty. How about the IDF using mine and Gen Shlomo Brom's suggestion... navy divers disable the rudder or propellers, then if they won't accept a rope, use 2 tug boats to nudge the powerless vessel toward Ashdod.

Israel gets what it wants plus positive publicity this time; the activists get the spotlight on the Gaza blockade again, but no loss of life.

... ah the "Black or White.. can't possibly be a Grey compromise" fallacy

>> Think the Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis etc will give the Sefardic Jews back what they were forced to leave behind in 1941? Seems reasonable to me, a fair swap off. Maybe the UN can arrange it.

... You craftily make it sound as though the whole problem started in 1941 rather than with the founding of Zionism 1897 by Theodor Herzl as you well know. Without going into the whole history of the conflict, which I know you would like me to in order to distract attention from the present Israeli outrage, but here's a simple question:

Why must the Palestinians be made refugees as a punishment for what [color:red]Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis, Romans, Germans, Russians, English, Irish, French, Swiss, Moroccans, Poles, Ukrainians, Moldovans, Argentinians, Romanians, Libyans,Hungarians,Slovakians and even the Protestan reformer Martin Luther[/color] have done to Jews?

list of Jewish and other pogroms

If you want to know the history of the conflict I suggest you read the Penguin paperback "Israel and the Arabs" (1982) ISBN 0-14-022445-9 by the French Jew Maxine Rodinson both of whose parents died in Auschwitz. It's a bit dated now, but it does show the roots of the conflict. If you can't read the book, read about Maxine Rodinson and the founder of Zionism Theodor Herzl at wikipedia. Read the Palestinian side of the story at Palestine Remembered

Sporty, you're doing something wrong with your quotes here. I can't tell what it is that you are writing, what Specialist is writing and what Robaus is writing. Your part should go either BELOW the quote (meaning outside the tags) or possibly above. Not inside. Then we can't tell who said what. To figure it out we have to scroll back and re-read the quoted posts, deduce what of your post didn't appear in the earlier ones. Grrr!

OK after writing this and previewing, I think I figured out the problem: apparently you accidentally deleted one of the end quote tags, so in that case the forum adds it back at the end of whatever you write.

>>Anyway here you can see why Muslim terrorists can't win:

... I agree,kamui... simple stereotypes for simple Fox Noise sheeple minds

It's comedy like this that gets American and allied soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.. ask General Petraeus.

Not such a barrel of laughs then is it?

To tell the truth, I find your side long pamphlets extremely boring and now to make it worse you became a member of the public correctness brigade.

It is the first time that I hear the comedy kills. Actually comedy is made because of people like you. Once in a while you need to laugh, especially about yourself.
