Old Hippie
The companies need to work with the unions/workers to make it a win-in for everyone, not just the CEO cashing in on HUGE bonuses! What has United Air done for the employees after the employees took pay/benefit/pension cuts? Has the upper management taken cuts or are they still sucking up bonuses at the expense of the employees? Jump in, OH... After the last round of cuts, the CEO got like 30 mil in bone-US-es. Total was like 100mil passed around in executive compensation, just enough to fund our pension, but no, they killed that, dumped it on the tax payers... The current contract negotiations should put us close to what we were contracted to make in 2003. American Airlines has a very diverse pay scale, so difficult to compare what is "the fair rate." New legislation proposed will not allow airlines (who fall under the railway labor act) to dump contracts and pensions in bankruptcy. It would also require the companies to fully fund pensions, no more dodging it, something they have gotten away with for years. My guess is, the right will try to kill it. Central Scrutinizer
5 years ago Australia was a lot worse than Aussie, you Yankees sound like whining poms! Them's fighting words you convict twat! And it is whinging, not whining! Or was that just your spelling again? They should have whipped yer ass harder and longer for that spelling stuff. "bone-US-es" OK, that one is funny. So, have NWA voted yet for the union now they are Delta scabs? Hope it goes union. Hate Delta, have for decades. Scumbags. USVirgin
If I was a Delta FA, I'd vote non-union. They've always gotten decent treatment from management, even if the evil purpose was to keep the unions at bay. Who can afford union dues amongst them? Night_Rider
Pleasure expat. Will do. Usually do a couple weeks. A few days in Patters to commit depraved acts and find a GFE, a week at the beach with the GFE and a few more days in Patters doing more depraved acts before flying out.
