The_Munchmaster
Wild Country ...It's "Family friendly"....heard there were 3 generations of the same family working there... ...So if that's not Family friendly...nothing is!!! :hubba: :hubba: Have the oral skills been passed down from generation to generation? :hubba:
Old Hippie
Is that what they mean when they refer to "the oral tradition" in literature?
khunsanuk
Hi, "But hasn't our beloved leader stated very clear, that he would not go to a place within SC, Nana etc?" I did. "And doesn't that rule out the old Dutch?" No, it doesn't. You can easily get to the Old Dutch without setting foot in SC. Sanuk!
khunsanuk
Hi, If the two are so close, maybe we should try a Friday at each and discuss afterwards? Sanuk!
CTO
KS - I agree, votes are very close. How about THIS Friday we meet Old Dutch, then following Down Under, and re vote from only those who attended
rickfarang
FOUL! I really don't think three days is long enough to run the poll before declaring a mandate! If you will check, "Stay at Gullivers" is still in the running, and a simple majority would not sway me. A clear majority of votes should be considered before making a change. If a majority cannot be realized in the first poll, then a runoff can be held. In any case, a few percent in favor of a chance is hardly a mandate. I would boycott a move made under such conditions. ..
A few points? The poll showed 65-35% in favour of a move... In a US presidential election, that would be called a landslide of gigantic proportions. Just what is it you are looking for? Regards, SD
rickfarang
Stay: 15 Move to "Down Under Bar" 18 Move: 11 No mandate to go to Down Under Bar. No mandate to go to Old Dutch. Hold a runoff to see if there is a clear majority.
khunsanuk
Hi, Sorry, Rick, but those numbers to me do suggest a large majority in favor of moving. Stay: 15 Move: 29 The run-off poll is not to decide where to move to. Sanuk!
..
"Hold a runoff to see if there is a clear majority." Uh, that's exactly what we are doing. The mandate was to leave Gullibles. Ain't that obvious: 15 say stay; ~twice as many (18 + 11 = 29) say move. The only question is where to move. Regards, SD
