What you Order.....and what you get....is often poles apart That's a good one. But not only Thai's have this problem. I've seen this in plenty of farang owned places. Seems it is easy to go "native" on this. Also: - The parking guys with the whistles - The idiots in their Fortuners (why is it always a Fortuner?) who comes out of nowhere to pull behind you , high beams flashing, while you are going 120kph? You periodically get letters to the editor from Thais who want to stick it to the Farangs because they are all so [color:red]filthy rich[/color] - charge them at least 100,000 baht annually for a work permit. This really goes over well with the govmt uni lecturers, whose base pay has not been increased since 1992 ... 25,500 baht a month. Taxi drivers sometimes ask me how much my uni pays me. I ask what they think and it's invariably 100,000+ a month. When I tell them 30,000 to 40,000 they just don't believe me! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
