Coss
For the imbecilic, some times winning, is not a good thing for the rest of the people. i.e. a ferocious cannibal competes in a girl's under 10, egg and spoon race, he wins and then eats the girls. In MAGA terms this is a brilliant outcome because he won. I will give Donald one accolade though, he has the ability to grift the people who matter in the USA, and I think that some of the grifters will get much richer, but that most of the grifted will be regretting their choices eventually. It's the confusion of the term "Capitalism" with the desire "Greed". Also for bringing an americanism to common usage for the rest of the world, "Grifter"

bust
Correct me if I'm wrong but to have presidential immunity, wouldn't you first need to have been president? Didn't this happen before he was elected? Judge rejects Donald Trump's bid to use presidential immunity to dismiss hush money conviction Trump was found guilty in May of 34 counts of falsifying business records. In short: President-elect Donald Trump's bid to have his "hush money" conviction dismissed on the basis of presidential immunity has been rejected by a judge. A judge has rejected president-elect Donald Trump's bid to have his "hush money" conviction dismissed because of the US Supreme Court's recent ruling on presidential immunity. Manhattan Judge Juan M Merchan's decision on Monday eliminates one potential off-ramp from the case ahead of Trump's return to office next month, but his lawyers have raised other arguments for dismissal. In the days since his election win, Donald Trump has moved to have his felony convictions dismissed. Prosecutors have said there should be some accommodation for his upcoming presidency, but they insist the conviction should stand. A jury convicted Trump in May of 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a $US130,000 ($204,000) hush money payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels in 2016. Trump has denied any wrongdoing... Trump was convicted in May of 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a $US130,000 hush money payment to porn actor Stormy Daniels in 2016. Coss
I was talking to someone the other day and I said, whilst it is very probable that DJT will be the next president of the USA, he ain't yet, despite running around pretending he is. Technically he could be sentenced before Jan 20 - not likely, but possible. And then we'll see a lot of serious people tying themselves in knots. I'm buying suitcase popcorn, I hope that the interweb still works when I'm in Laos for January.
Coss
if you haven't seen, the current reports of the folk in the USA losing their minds over drones - Link Consider this. T'were I so inclined, and I was in America, and felt mischievous towards the denizens at the lower end of the IQ graph, in my local USA neighbourhood: I could do worse, than take my nifty Drone, I got from Amazon, out at night and turn it's little lights on and fly it over places that I presume, are where Americans live. (being in America this would not be difficult) When the battery got low, I would retrieve the Drone and go home. T'were there others like me, this could happen multiple times, in the dark, even becoming a popular sport. Like when a large number of people gamed google, to skew search results for "idiot" to give Donald Trump as the search result. Of note: Don't shoot the Drones Fury grows as US politicians demand answers about mysterious drones Alien Drones ________________ But the best IMHO, is the speed and agility of the capitalist system wherein, mere days after these stories started appearing, there is a chap on major TV channels, from the Company "Drone Shield" with the title "Director of Public Safety", telling credulous journalists all about these Drones, that the average American should be very afraid of. This might be better than the Trump show, remember Orson Wells' War of the Worlds, radio broadcast? ________________
bust
Sounds like something the "waste of semen" could be orchestrating to be used later on by his good buddy for some obscure power. Fits his MO.
