I think Obama also deported more than trump. The problems is/was the “caravans” that came to the borders and what seems to be or is reported to be a revolving door of people crossing the border, getting deported then coming back again and again. Add to this, “sanctuary cities” where the city government refuses to call ICE/Immigration when an illegal is arrested for a crime. In the extreme cases, these people have been released and committed murders. This has happened in San Francisco a few times.

That has been suggested for years and while I see some merit in the argument, I just don’t see it happening here, too much religious bullshit etc… If it did happen, I doubt it would work because there just wouldn’t be an bi-partisan work to make it work and or corruption would ruin its chances of working…
