Example, the president can act immediately for a set period of time until congress either approves it or stops it…war powers and what not. Then there are “executive orders” when the president can declare some thing to be done “because he said so…” In some cases, this is ok, in others, the courts can tell him “NO!” Example, the president could issue an executive order banning guns (FDR tried this) and the court could block his order…so in short, “…it all depends…”

Coss
Denmark launches bid to ‘buy California’ in response to Trump’s Greenland plans... ...Danish toy company Lego would manage talks between the US and Denmark as “dealing with children throwing tantrums over missing bricks has made them experts in negotiation,” Politico reported. The campaign said it would “Make California Great Again,” referencing Trump’s presidential campaign slogan, and joked that their crowdfunding goal was “give or take” NZ$1.8 trillion... https://www.stuff.co.nz/world-news/360576846/denmark-launches-bid-buy-california-response-trumps-greenland-plans

buffalo_bill
Gentlemen, today I was listening to the radio news in my motorcar and somebody was talking about the Orangeman who was said to have been thinking about plastic straws being environmentally friendly. Which I thought was a joke as there are now many concerning the man. But it wasn´t. Digging deeper I came across a website called The White House. News from the palace. A collection of the most unbelievable bullshit imaginable. Read as follows: PROMOTING A CLEAN AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT: President Trump has made it a top priority to promote a clean and healthy environment for the American people. President Trump’s policies are promoting economic growth, while still maintaining standards that allow Americans to have among the cleanest air and water in the world. How much do they have to pay some people to assemble this kind of propaganda? Gentlemen, I am saying it again: I belong to the believers in the USA as the ( previously) last resort strong enough to defend democracy values against the rest of the world. But as it looks it shall go down the drain with Trump and friends. Where is the national outrage??
Mekong
How about cutting funding on Children’s Cancer Research the same day as he and his cronies spend $20 Million or tax payers money to fly to an Egg Ball game Then again with Trumps track record with Children’s Cancer Charities it’s no great surprise really
