Sounds better. It used to be called the 'War Department' around the time of WW2. Technically, we defend ourselves than proactively attack others. Not saying its the case but its the thinking behind the re-naming.

Not discounting some who have a racial bias but I think its anti-Liberal thing. Pelosi, Reid and others are getting just as bad if not worse at times.

 

I still maintain its partly some bitterness over the election, actual disagreement over what is deemed liberal policies with a touch of socialism and a good amount of it being a cause celebre politically to rally people to vote Republican in the next election. What percentage of each, I wouldn't try to guess but I do believe all three are components of the feelings against it.
