LizardKing
Well observed, Dave32. Their leaders chose to renege on the deal, playing winner-take-all versus real politics, which by the pure definition means compromise. I do believe that the reds well over-estimate their power... Coss
So who was the Red Shirt's Londoner Groupie?
Pom Michael
My opinion - the worst is the BBC, followed closely by CNN. "Deadly clashes as army confronts Red Shirts in Bangkok" - I would more accurately describe it as Red Shirts confronting the Thai Army. That headline was from Friday - now tomorrow's headline would probably be more accurate - looks like tomorrow morning will be very active.
Old Hippie
So why are the Reds confronting the army? Out gunned, out manned...their defeat is almost certain. Could it be that these people are pissed off, feel they have a legitimate gripe and are willing to fight for it against over whelming odds and maybe are even willing to die for it? It seems to me there is a lot more involved here than Thaksin paying some people. Had someone recognized this, and respected it, things might not be where they are. Mekong
I feel that the Mexicans in AZ have every right to be pissed off with the new laws, let have them stand up and fight for their rights.

Sorry to go so far off the subject of the thread. You think [color:red]Mexicans[/color] have rights in Arizona, really? What, I do not understand about that, is anywhere in the US, for cause you must produce an ID, why should Mexicans be different?
